the city of Kazan on the Volga river.
In 1953 Nikolai Galakhov graduated
from the Repin Institute of Arts in Rudolf
Frentz workshop.
He studied of Josef Serebrany, Piotr Belousov,
Yuri Neprintsev.
Since 1949 Nikolai Galakhov has participated
in Art Exhibitions.
He painted genre paintings, landscapes,
etudes done from nature, worked in oils, tempera, and pastel.
Nikolai Galakhov most famous for his landscapes
of middle Volga River and Northern Karelija.
